A fews years back I was approached by a former Attorney General from the state of Maryland who regularly got his articles published in everything from "Black Belt" to various scientific journals. He was interested in a theory and explanation that I had posted on the internet's largest mixed martial arts forum. In a nutshell it was that Benny Hinn and others like him used basically the same psychological, and if necessary, physical tricks as martial arts practitioners like George Dillman who claim to be able to perform Tuite (the death touch). Hinn to create the appearance of the person being "overcome by the spirit" and Dillman to execute his so-called Tuite knockouts.

I'm actually known in some martial arts circles (and hated in some others) for helping to first expose Dillman's fraud well before "National Geographic" finally drove the last nail into the coffin of his claims.
